Few and right: how to choose hashtags today
Thirty hashtags at the bottom of a post are no longer useful. Instagram counts five and recommends using three to five, chosen well: they tell the platform what your content is about, they do not chase everyone.
This is the order we use. First what you do, with the word someone searching for you would use. Then where you do it, if you work with people in your area. Then the niche: the style, the technique, the instrument. Only at the end the broad hashtags, the ones with millions of posts where yours stays visible for a few seconds.
Frequently asked questions
How many hashtags can you use on Instagram?
Since December 2025 Instagram counts at most 5 per post or Reel, and recommends using 3 to 5 very relevant ones: the extra ones are ignored. That is why the list is in order of importance: if you take 3, they are the 3 that matter.
How many hashtags does VIBEST accept?
Up to 8 per post, listing or Team Vibe. On VIBEST the app adds the #: paste the line you copied here into the hashtag field, press + and it splits them on its own.
Why add the city?
Because people looking for a professional look nearby. The hashtag with trade and city is less crowded than the generic one and gets you found by people who can really become a client or a collaborator: that is why it goes in third place.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
No sign-up. You get 3 free lists a day: three trades, with all their hashtags, the city and the quantities you want. If you need more, there are packs of creations: the code also works for the bio and the caption.
Does it use artificial intelligence?
